We did it... and so did many of you.
Many of you may remember our Rock The Ocean UK event last summer held on Brean Beach.
We rocked the ocean while collecting masses of ocean plastic waste that had been washed up on to the shore.
That waste was then remarkably transformed over a long period of time having been hand washed and sorted by WaveMe, delivered to Behaviour Change Cornwall and washed thoroughly again, into beautiful jewellery - statement jewellery by Behaviour Change Cornwall who work tirelessly cleaning up the oceans and shores, making wonderful products to be treasured out of waste that would inevitably have ended up back in the sea, or even worse, in the stomachs of our wonderful marine life and wildlife.
In fact the waste we all collected that day at Brean has probably saved many lives and we’ve created a forever memory for you.
Huge thanks if you joined us, if you didn’t, we will soon be releasing the dates and tickets for this summers Rock The Ocean event held at Brean Beach in association with the National Trust.
